As a counsellor and psychotherapist I believe there are always reasons for the distress and difficulties people experience at different times in their lives. The reasons can lie in the past or the present. It is completely normal to struggle sometimes and to different degrees of severity. At Woman to Woman I will give you the opportunity to explore in as much depth as you feel comfortable with, the issues you are bringing; to be accepted and affirmed as the person you are; and to move forward towards resolution and to unlocking the person you want to be.
Based at The Nook in Stocksbridge and at The Practice Rooms in Broomhill, I offer one to one therapy to those experiencing a variety of problems. These may include, but are not limited to, women's issues, abuse (both emotional and sexual) relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, stress, burnout, anxiety, academic stress, loss, bereavement, pet bereavement, harassment, bullying and sexism.
I also offers a space where you can explore your identity and purpose. If you are in a time of reflection or self-development, this is a place where you can engage with this process.
